Kevin

No noose to report for today.

Kevin

A full round of validations was run on this site, and guess what?

FAILURE. As long as there're ads in the site, the pages won't validate (just a couple silly little errors that don't effect how the page displays).

So, to celebrate our everlasting invalid status, I've whipped up a couple buttons for CSS and XHTML validation status. CSS is invalid only because it gives me a "warning" that the border color and background color are the same on the banner div's borders, and a transparent color warning which isn't an error 'cause I want it that way.

...Yes, I am a geek. :-P

Ahhh, almost the end of the month. Pretty sweet. I clearly need more things to take up my time though. On the plus side, more time for me to write up comics.

So, anyway. Kevin whipped up some button links for us, should anyone decide they want to link. And hell, if you do want to link to us feel free to send an e-mail, we'll link you back.

Tut tut tut Phil, updating the news without me.

Philip

Sup guz, I finally learned to put the news on. And yeah, i'll say more later. Feel free to contact us guys. Y'know?

FREE MUMIA!

Well, now that I've got you going "Guh?" I can go on with my actual news. :-P It turns out Rita actually turned and hit the Louisiana-Texas seam -- and weakened -- which means all I got was some wind and a lot of heat.

Good news, good news... well there's your new comic for today. Enjoy.

Kevin

[11 PM] The comics aren't updating on time, but hopefully I just fixed that.

Hurricane Rita's set to hit land sometime tomorrow or Saturday, so I'm not personally gonna be online for a while. The comic will keep updating on time, though, thanks to the power of buffers. <3 While I stay off the computer, I'll probably spend that time drawing more comics just to keep ahead of things.

...Not like I'll have much better to do with all that spare time.

Bam. It works.

Finally. e.e So many problems just trying to get this thing working... but it works now, so it doesn't matter. :P Bit of a feminine look to the whole site, but Philip didn't seem to mind. -.^

Still working on debugging the site, but hopefully all will be working right in the next day or two. Uploaded now is the first Steve and Mac, the first Strangely Normal, and a filler just to put some space in the archives. Whoohoo.

Unavoidable. In my creative slump I've turned to exercise, and given Michael's ankle sprain that he got today, I may have to pull a few double shifts at work until he can walk again.

Real life's a bitch, people.

Zeph needs to stop not getting onto aim. I'm going to destroy him. Every time I need to tell him something he is GONE. And now i've written more strips that I can't relay to him. ZEPHIR GET ONLINE

Kevin

Ohhhh, you evil little man. You shall be made to suffer for your public abuses of power.

Suffer horribly.

Saturday, October 15th, 2005

Philip

I think Zeph has taken his seasonal internet hibernation. That's cool though, that just means that I'm in charge. Unfortuneately I have no idea what sort of evil thing to do.

I have rediscovered the addiction known as MUD, and it is sweet.

I'm also going to cause physical harm to MoogleGenocide should he continue to not want to play SC. *glare*

Beginning soon, Steve and Mac the comic will be undergoing a paradigm style change in the art, effecting the characters. There'll be two pencil sketch fillers demonstrating the style change, and the new style debuts in time for the next storyline, on the 24th.

That is all.

Philip

Attention, I repeat, attention please.

I enjoy cheese. Particularly Hoffman's Super Sharp Cheddar. I could eat it all day and night.

That is all

'Kay, so, if anyone's actually been paying attention, the comic hasn't been updating quite on time. What happened was our server -- Butch -- crashed at some point over the weekend, and updates got staggered. Additionally, the update queue seems to be clogged with update requests, so today's update could be late too.

Hopefully this gets all sorted out pretty quick and the comic will update on time tonight. Here's to hope.

Also, I feel I have to do this somewhere: keep Terrence Murphy -- wideout for the Green Bay Packers -- in your prayers. He played at Texas A&M in college, and is a rookie this year, but during the Carolina game he took a hard helmet-to-helmet hit during a kickoff return and is down with some sort of neck injury. He has movement in all limbs, but still...

Well, that lovely (*gasp* CGED) pic of Jessica is the start of a three-part cheesecake/beefcake series based on our three leads from the comic. Now whether you find them enticing or disturbing is your own choice...

Merry Christmas, all! Have fun eating turkey, drinking eggnog, and whatever else buffoonery you so desire. Me, I'm watchin' football.

Kevin

I'd like to thank Dan Shive for the inspiration for today's filler. After all... I did pretty much jack that technique from him...

Ahem. *loosens collar*

Philip

So. ... Yeah.

Kevin won't let me have a forum, or any sort of interactive stuff because he says we have no readers. ... Or something.

Anyway, I know you all want to help me prove him wrong, thereby allowing me to do things like have a forum, and by extension, power. To help me out, I want you to spread the word of Steve and Mac. And if you're one of the people that reads us frequently/daily/weekly then feel free to drop our e-mail address a line. It's on the contact page. Take pride in the fact that you can both help us grow, and stroke my ego. I know you all want to.

ZH, out.

O'DOYLE RULES

Thursday, December 8, 2005

Kevin

O'doyle does indeed not rule!

...Um, anyway, yeah. Formal advertising might come later on, when I get some spare change left over, but not anytime soon. In the meantime, the most you can do is help us out with word of mouth. And, yes, if you have some complaint or anything about the comic or the site, do email us. It's there for a reason. =)

Tuesday, December 6, 2005

Kevin

Your Steve and Mac for today was late for reasons I don't care to talk about. Sorry 'bout that.

Monday, December 5, 2005

Kevin

There's a problem with automatic updating, I know not what. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, but if you see this message, it's been fixed.
